Tour Program

Lets Go!

We start our great day by heading for a beautiful stroll through the pretty Ho Thi Ky Flower Market, the biggest in Ho Chi Minh City! You’ll get to view the daily life of the city’s local traders as you are dazzled by the scents and kaleidoscope of colours while we navigate through the narrow winding streets of the market.

Cyclo Around Local Specialist Markets

Next we head to the Pet Market where we pick up the cyclo for an hour of riding through the city! Firstly, we will pass by the local food and fruit market where you will get a great insight into the local cuisine and daily Vietnamese life. Next you’ll get to whizz past many specialist local markets including leather, fabric, second-hand items and Chinese Medicine stalls. We will end the cyclo stage of the tour at Thien Hau Temple.

Gaze at Thien Hau Temple

Located in Chinatown, Thien Hau Temple is widely considered the most beautiful in all the city! After visiting this legendary temple, we will drive along the canal to see the contrast between poor stilt houses and the wealthy sky buildings. Next we will head back to the City Center to visit the fascinating War Remnants Museum. This will be an emotionally hard-hitting experience given the graphic content of the museum. Yet, it will be a valuable stop for anybody wishing to learn more about different perspectives surrounding the Vietnam War and its continuing effects today.

Optional Local Lunch

After the museum, our guides will recommend you lunch stops suitable to your interest. After we’ve fuelled up, it’s off to our first stop of the afternoon which will be the Reunification Palace. Here you’ll learn all about its important place in Vietnamese history.

An Afternoon Of Amazing Architecture

Our next stop will be the famous Notre Dame Cathedral and Central Post Office. Your knowledgeable guide will explain all the history behind these two incredible buildings. Next, we’ll head to the historic CIA building where the last U.S Helicopter flew out of Saigon in 1975. You’ll learn all about the story of the last U.S Operation, Frequent Wind. From here we’ll have a mini walking tour to see HCMC highlights including the Opera House, Hotel Continental and Nguyen Hue Square where you can see City Hall, Rex Hotel and the mighty Bitexco building.

Our Final Stops!

Ben Thanh market is a must spot to understand the local market cultures. It is good for either window shopping or “shop ’til you drop” and practice your bargain skills. After this busy place, time to have a “happy-ending” to enjoy an included cocktail and a stunning view from a rooftop bar before dropping you off at your accommodation.
